Blindster had strong products, but SEO performance was held back by sitewide technical and on page issues that limited crawling, indexing, and content relevance.
Key issues found:
- Duplicate pages at scale (136) causing signal dilution
Thin content across many URLs (103) increasing devaluation and index risk - Heading structure issues sitewide, with missing, duplicate, and multiple H1s plus a lack of clear H2 and H3 hierarchy that weakened topical clarity
- Metadata duplication (58 duplicate titles) reducing SERP clarity
- Crawl and UX friction from broken pages (15) and broken internal links (5)
- Sitemap hygiene issues (non indexable URLs in sitemaps plus URLs repeated across multiple sitemaps)

The homepage also gained +60 clicks and +45.9K impressions, reinforcing broader visibility growth.


Keyword Ranking Expansion
Across the tracked keyword set, 137 keywords improved in ranking, signaling strong upward momentum across both commercial and informational searches related to blinds, shades, and window treatments.
The most important gains occurred in high-value positions where the majority of organic traffic is captured. 69 keywords now rank within the Top 3 positions, representing a 97.1% increase (+34 keywords) during the period. First-page visibility expanded even more dramatically, with 141 keywords now ranking on page one of Google, an increase of 75 additional first-page rankings (+113.6%).
Overall search presence strengthened across the broader keyword set as well. 171 keywords now rank within the top two pages, while 177 keywords appear within the top three pages of Google, reflecting stronger mid-funnel coverage and increased potential for future top-ranking gains.
In total, 195 of the 310 tracked keywords now rank within Google’s top 10 pages, demonstrating that Blindster’s SEO improvements are steadily expanding the brand’s presence across highly competitive search results and positioning more product and category pages to capture high-intent organic demand.
AI Visibility & Citations
Across the major AI platforms, citations have grown significantly. ChatGPT generated 450 citations referencing 158 pages from the site, indicating that a wide range of Blindster content and product pages are being used in AI-driven product research and recommendations. Google AI Overviews produced 162 citations across 75 pages, reflecting broader recognition of Blindster’s content within Google’s AI-generated search summaries.
Additional growth occurred across other AI systems. Perplexity generated 167 citations referencing 62 pages, while Google Gemini produced 148 citations across 148 pages, further expanding the brand’s presence in conversational search environments. Microsoft Copilot added 70 citations across 72 pages, demonstrating visibility across multiple AI ecosystems.
At the beginning of the tracking period, Blindster had almost no measurable presence in AI-generated answers. As technical SEO improvements, content expansion, and product page optimizations strengthened the site’s authority, the brand began appearing more frequently in AI-generated responses tied to window treatments, blinds, and shades.
Growth accelerated significantly in the later stages of the period. Mentions began rising steadily toward the end of the year and continued climbing into early 2026, reaching over 30 AI Overview mentions at peak levels. This reflects a substantial increase in how often Blindster is surfaced within AI-generated summaries and product research queries.
